Internal DNS
Dboxed sandboxes run a DNS server internally that performs two jobs.
The first job is to forward public DNS queries to the resolvers configured on the host.
The second job is to resolve Dboxed internal box hostnames.
Box domain names
Every box can resolve the IP of any other box from the same network by querying the A record of <box-name>.dboxed.
The resolved IP depends on the network type and will usually resolve to an ip in the
100.64.0.0/10 CIDR , which is the CIDR used for P2P VPN networking
in solutions like Netbird and Tailscale.
This means, if one box (named my-service) is exposing a http service on port 80, any other box in the same network
can access the service via http://my-service.dboxed/my-path.
